Because of the many video links, the page will load slow: please give it time.

On YouTube many interesting movies can be found regarding subjects that interest us, Parasetteers.
It is my goal to present a number of links to you to make it easier to find and enjoy these movies. Knowledge must not be forgotten – without the past there is no future.

In order not to clutter the page with descriptions of thousands of movies, I limit the descriptions to the following subjects:   Paraset, spying, secret agents, resistance. The movies have to cover World War 2 and must be historically correct.

If anyone wishes to contribute to this page, please send me an e-mail with the proper links and I will publish it here.

Bletchley Park – Home of the Codebreakers
“Codebreakers: Bletchley Park’s Lost Heroes”
Documentary giving overdue recognition to the brilliance of Bill Tutte and Tommy Flowers. It also features senior cryptanalyst Captain Jerry Roberts.

“Documentary that reveals the secret story behind one of the greatest intellectual feats of World War II, a feat that gave birth to the digital age. In 1943, a 24-year-old maths student and a GPO engineer combined to hack into Hitler’s personal super-code machine – not Enigma but an even tougher system, which he called his ‘secrets writer’. Their break turned the Battle of Kursk, powered the D-day landings and orchestrated the end of the conflict in Europe. But it was also to be used during the Cold War – which meant both men’s achievements were hushed up and never officially recognised.”

A very nostalgic look at Morse Code as taught by the Signal Corps, US Army. This is a film released by the Department of Defense, Department of the Army’s Office of the Chief Signal Officer (09/18/1947 – 02/28/1964). It is titled, “Principles and Basic Technique for Good, Rhythmic Sending of Morse Code by Operating the Hand Key”.

This demonstrates the use of a “STRAIGHT KEY” as taught by the military. This could still be useful information for those of us who use straight key in our Amateur Radio hobby. I use an old World War II Navy Signal Lamp Key.
