Power supply for MK-VII

This forum is all about building and using World War II spy radio equipment, in particular the Whaddon MK-VII (Paraset). For other radios, separate forums can be set up - ask the Quartermaster.

Power supply for MK-VII

Post by Henk - NL13265 »

Everyone needs a powersupply for a MK-VII. One can use an old transformer from a commercial radio. Custom made transformers are expensive.

It does not matter if you use a tube or semiconductor for rectification.

Hi Terry
Which PSU schematic are you asking about? 6 V or mains?

Kind regards,

Hi Henk,
