Thanks Henk.
Measured here:
Pin 4 grid1 = + 1.1 mV.
Anode current 6.8 mA.
Anode Pin 8 = 210 V
I see on the voltage map that g1 says g1 = 0 volts ?
Do you think the value of cathode and g1 resistance is critical?
Cathode resistance here is 254 ohms, and the
g1 resistance is 258 Kohm

HOT LF-out tube
Hi all I find that the LF out tube becomes much hotter than the RF tube, hard to put the fingers on. That's something I haven't noticed until now. Have therefore replaced all the capacitors with new ones, checked that everything else is normal. No immediate errors found. Choke measure to 33H / 885R....

Re: Antenne for Paraset
Hei Henk
18 m long wire ok - I get to try out, as well as good grounding.
The paraset actually tunes well on my 83m loop, BUT without knowing how well it actually works, but it is far too long.
I also notice that the antenna is very quiet and good / RX.

Antenne for Paraset
Hi
Has anyone here tested out which antenna works well for Paraset? I gonna use the set from my shack, not primary field-operation.
(In my case for 80 meters).

Re: Bandspread
I found this - maybe this will turn out ok for me. (Will send you a email Henk in case you have the RX coil parts and caps. for me?) http://sm7ucz.se/a_www_paraset_co_uk/construction_tips_07.htm Btw. it does not look like paraset.co.uk is active anymore. Tried to send them an email but could not be ...

Bandspread
Hello all paraset friends After practicing the paraset on reception, and thinking about how difficult the RX is to tune, I think I will choose to only prioritize the 80m band. Preferably get a band spread that covers the cw portion of the band from 3.5 Mhz to 3.6 Mhz, but preferably a little over bu...

Re: Almost completed
Hi Henk Yes things take time is understandable. I feel like I have less time now that I am retired than when I was at work. Too many projects. :) I am looking for a serial number METAL-plate to the paraset. Either one I can have on the chassis or on the box or both. Do you have any tips where I can ...

Almost completed
Hi First of all - Henk, thanks for a nice forum. My paracet project was completed a few years ago. There was a lot of collection of parts world wide. The radio worked on the first try - NO SMOKE :D But it is only now that I am starting to make a suitable box for it. The project is probably soon fini...
